Ducks Unlimited recognized in California Assembly and Senate

Last Friday morning, the California Senate and the California Assembly presented Ducks Unlimited with resolutions commending DU’s 80th anniversary and the tremendous work of its volunteers and employees in the state.
Western Region Policy Director Gary Link coordinated the effort by working with the signatory legislators, Senators Tom Berryhill, and Jim Nielsen, and Assemblymembers Cecilia Aguiar-Curry and James Gallagher, to get the resolutions presented on their respective floors.
In addition to honoring DU, the Senate and Assembly also recognized Lundberg Farms, which is also celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. Lundberg Farms is a great steward of the lands and has been a great partner with DU for waterfowl conservation, especially during the recent drought.
- DU staff and Lundberg Farms hold both of their resolutions on the Assembly floor.
- WRO Director Mark Biddlecomb, DU Chairman of the Board Paul Bonderson, and California State Chair Jan Young pose with the resolutions.
- Assemblymember Ceclia Aguiar-Curry hands the resolution to Paul Bonderson.
