Swan Festival 2014
The annual Swan Festival in Marysville, Ca took place last weekend, and as usual, was a big success with visitors from all over Northern California.
Ducks Unlimited had a heavy presence at the event thanks to DU’s State Marketing Chairman, Claudia Caudle, who manned a booth stocked with DU information on duck hunting and wetlands conservation.
The festival took place just 45 miles north of Sacramento within the Pacific Flyway route, making the area a premiere waterfowl viewing location. More than 50 million birds can be seen here over the migratory season, including the beautiful and elegant Tundra Swan.
